EB Pils

The spoof of Jonathan Glazer’s classic Guinness ‘Surfers’ commercial, but instead of featuring surfers and white horses, we see a bunch of guys splashing about in flat water on a pebbly beach with rubber horses and lilos. Which all plays in the strap line ‘We prefer to spend our money on brewing great beer. EB Pils.’

The music used is the same as the original ‘Surfers’ commercial ‘Phat Planet’ by Leftfield. When ‘Leftfield’ saw the EB Pils spoof not only did they allow us to use the music for free but they also dropped the Guinness advert from their start of their online concert series and replaced it with ours.
